Purpose of job

Develop and execute highly complex and specialised initiatives/activities (e.g. within Treasury, Tax, VAT, etc.). Execute high degree of functional responsibility with limited supervision.

Key Activities

- Act as high level financial specialist advising top management teams on complex and specialized financial matters/cases. 
- Perform high quality analysis to strengthen the business decision-making process to improve performance and/or securing compliance to global policies and procedures. 
- Conduct highly complex financial transactions.
- Contribute with a constant focus on performance, compliance and quality within a specialised financial area.
- Initiate and define global standards, policies and processes within a specialised financial area.
- Evaluate final business cases and projects before submission for final approval in close cooperation with business partners.

Critical knowledge and experience

Industry, market and business environment
- Experience developing and implementing processes within finance.
- Experience leading key strategies within a large business environment; experience in a large manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- Experience operating and leading processes within finance.
- Most likely to have 8-10 years of relevant work experience before entering level besides formal education.

Technical, functional and professional
- Strong background executing complex or specialized projects and activities in finance.
- Proven results supporting key initiatives in a large organization; experience in large manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- Possess strong knowledge of best practices in relevant systems, local laws and regulations where applicable, in finance.
