Grundfos Code of Conduct
In Grundfos we value our reputation of integrity, and consequently expects its entire organisation to operate within the Group's social, economic and environmental priorities as defined in the Grundfos Mission, Vision and Company Values.
We believe that honesty and integrity are accepted practices in all cultures. While we accept that customs may vary from one country to another, and morals differ, it is the Group's desire to conduct our business with honesty and integrity.
The Grundfos Code of Conduct has been continuously updated and strengthened in order to improve our corporate governance. In 2009, the Code of Conduct was extended to include all aspects of the UN Global Compact. It focuses on compliance with legislation and regulations, human rights, labour rights, environment, political contributions, acceptable accounting, fair & lawful competition, entertainment & gifts, bribery, commissions & monetary rewards, conflict of interest and confidentiality.
The Code of Conduct outlines the principles that guide the people of Grundfos to act responsibly. It is signed by all Grundfos General Managers, but Corporate Governance and adherence to the Code of Conduct is of relevance for all employees.
UN Global Compact
Grundfos has committed itself to the UN Global Compact and the ten principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. In the Sustainability Report, we disclose to stakeholders our progress made in implementing the ten principles of the UN Global Compact, and in supporting the broad 2015 UN Millennium Development Goals.
To further strengthening our support, Grundfos has signed the Caring for Climate initiative, where we commit ourselves to set specific goals for reducing emissions.
