Together with a local energy company, Grundfos built a joint energy exchange centre that could capture, store and use heating and cooling within a closed system. This district energy alliance is now saving 3,700 tonnes of CO2 a year, and covering 15% of the annual heat consumption for Bjerringbro District Heating.
