In a sluggish, global economic conditions today, only companies that have loyal customers who can survive. This was the main reason of management in deciding PT. Grundfos Pompa to obtain ISO 9001 certification. Although globally, Grundfos Group has been certified by ISO 9001, and also one of the first companies in the world that obtained ISO certification, but the commitment to serve local market in Indonesia as well as the desire to provide easiness in distribution network to make sales (Especially for tender requirements) strengthening local management to decide that PT. Grundfos Pompa must have ISO 9001 as well.
The journey of PT. Grundfos Pompa to obtain ISO 9001 nearly a year, the desire to be certified, blazed at the event of Grundfos APREG Operation Meeting in September 2015. Then in November 2015, management formally decided to obtain ISO 9001 certification, and in December 2015, PT. Grundfos Pompa are officially registered at SGS Indonesia.
To expedite the certification process, ISO Project Team formed, chaired by Senior Manager of Operations, Yustinus Agung Legowo. The long and winding road started, certification which will be obtained is ISO 9001:2015, latest version after ISO 9001:2008. There are various requirements that must be followed in order to obtain ISO 9001:2015. The toughest conditions, is to change the working culture which has been running long enough. From working without standards, or clear instructions and rules of the game. After going through a series of competence test, eligibility and audit from SGS Indonesia, eventually PT. Grundfos Pompa declared eligible for ISO 9001:2015 and get a recommendation of ISO 9001:2015 from SGS, in the category of "Assembly, Sales and Service Pump and Design of Pump System" in August
Officially, PT. Grundfos Pompa obtained ISO 9001:2015 on September 23rd, 2016, in a small celebration that was attended by business partners and authorized dealers. On the occasion, President Director of PT. SGS Indonesia, Guy Francois Escarfail present to submit the original certificate ISO 9001:2015 to PT. Grundfos Pompa through its president, Gert Borrits. This is not the end, but a strong foundation indeed, to get higher ISO certification, in order to maintain and improve customer satisfaction with products, solutions, and highest service level offered by PT. Grundfos Pompa to all of its customers in Indonesia. In addition, this success has made PT. Grundfos Pompa as the first company in the Grundfos Group obtained ISO 9001:2015.
