Not only actively participating in humanitarian aid victims of natural disasters,
Grundfos Indonesia is also active with the world of education in Indonesia. Beside providing opportunities for students to visit offices and operating facilities or do internships. Grundfos Indonesia had been asking for years to teach in several educational institutions to provide training or lectures related to water technology as well as general knowledge.
On October 10, one of the top private universities in Indonesia, BINUS University invited Grundfos Indonesia to give a lecture to post-graduate / master program students with the topic "Corporate Governance". The reason they invite, since they know for long time that Grundfos is one of the few companies that have and have implemented corporate ethics in their daily work life worldwide.
President Director Giancarlo Roggiolani as a guest lecturer
explained to students clearly about the Code of Conduct which is a Grundfos holy book to improve the ethics of working for all Grundfos employees throughout the world, including Indonesia. This is closely related to Grundfos as a company that has strong values with high ethical standards and has a reputation for honesty and integrity.
This opportunity is also used by the students to ask questions, discuss and ask for experience, since they have also intention to apply the corporate code of ethics in the company where they work. One and a half hours session delayed to two and a half hours in responding the enthusiasm of the post graduate / master program students.
We hope, this initial small step, can open the eyes of students and infect them in their respective companies as a small step towards for a better Indonesian business culture based on the company's code of ethics that applies worldwide in the future.
